Section 8 New Construction

HACP manages Portneuf Towers, a 72 unit high rise complex for elderly or disabled individuals and couples, under the Section 8 New Construction Program.

To be eligible for assistance, applicants must qualify under HUD established income limits, be elderly or disabled, and pass other screening criteria established by HACP. Program participants contribute 30% of their monthly adjusted income towards rent.

The waiting list for Public Housing Assistance is 3 to 18 months, depending on resident turnover.
